Black Garlic Sweet & Savory Brisket

1 beef brisket (3 to 3 1/2 pounds), cut in half

1 c. Black Garlic Ketchup, Chef Mitch Maier Black Garlic Ketchup

1/4 c. grape jelly

1 envelope onion soup mix

1/2 tsp pepper


Cooking Instructions

Place half of the brisket in a 5-qt. slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, helly, soup mix, and pepper; spread half over meat. Top with the remaining meat and ketchup mixture.


Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is tender. Slice brisket; serve with cooking juice. 


Use fresh beef brisket, not corned beef.
