Mitch Maier’s Black Garlic Products began as an idea in 2017. Black Garlic is an ingredient in the recipes of my personal chef customers. Knowing the food allergy concerns of those customers compelled me to create a Black Garlic Sauce & Marinade they could use like Worcestershire sauce but without ingredients like Anchovy (fish), or Barley Malt which contains Gluten. 


Mitch Maier’s Black Garlic Sauce & Marinade was first bottled in June of 2018. Mitch Maier’s Black Garlic BBQ Sauce was next, introduced in July and Mitch Maier’s Black Garlic Ketchup in August 2018. In September of 2019, the name was changed to Chef Mitch Maier Black Garlic.


My own background includes a Culinary Arts degree and a BS in Vocational Technical Teacher Education.  I am a member of the American Culinary Federation.  My company, Out Of The Kitchen LLC is a Certified Wisconsin Veteran Owned Business.
