Black Garlic is garlic that has gone through an aging process of controlled heat and humidity. Black Garlic is an ingredient I learned about three years ago. Many notable chefs were cooking with it, and so was I. This lead to my creation of a line of condiments, sauces, ketchup, and soon to be announced hot sauce.
After reading about all the health claims associated with Black Garlic, I used that information to create my products. Every one of the ingredients I use in the preparation of Mitch Maier’s Black Garlic: Sauce & Marinade, BBQ Sauce, and Ketchup have its own list of health benefits. Food is good medicine.
